Magnesium sulfate is an inorganic salt with the formula MgSO4(H2O)x where 0 ≤ x ≤ 7. It contains 20.19% elemental magnesium by mass. It is often encountered as the heptahydrate sulphate mineral epsomite (MgSO4·7H2O), commonly called Epsom salt. The overall global annual usage in the mid-1970s of the monohydrate was 2.3 million tons, of which the majority was used as a fertilizer in agriculture.
Epsom salt has been traditionally used as a component of bath salts. Epsom salt can also be used as a beauty product. Athletes use it to soothe sore muscles, while farmers and gardeners use it to improve crops by correcting magnesium and sulphur deficiencies. • Magnesium sulfate is a common mineral pharmaceutical preparation of magnesium, commonly known as Epsom salt, used both externally and internally. Its solubility in water is inhibited by lipids in lotions resulting in variable absorption rates when applied to the skin. Temperature and concentration are also factors.
• Epsom salt is used as bath salts and for isolation tanks. Magnesium sulfate is the main preparation of intravenous magnesium.
• Internal uses include:
• Replacement therapy for magnesium deficiency.
• Magnesium sulfate is an antiarrhythmic agent for torsades de pointes in cardiac arrest under the ECC guidelines and for managing quinidine-induced arrhythmias.
• As a bronchodilator after beta-agonist and anticholinergic agents have been tried, e.g. in severe exacerbations of asthma, magnesium sulfate can be nebulized to reduce the symptoms of acute asthma. It is commonly administered via the intravenous route for the management of severe asthma attacks.
• Magnesium sulfate is effective in decreasing the risk that preeclampsia progresses to eclampsia. IV magnesium sulfate is used to prevent and treat seizures of eclampsia. It reduces the systolic blood pressure but does not alter the diastolic blood pressure, so the blood perfusion to the fetus is not compromised. It is also commonly used for eclampsia where compared to diazepam or phenytoin it results in better outcomes.
• Agriculture: In agriculture, magnesium sulfate is used to increase magnesium or sulfur content in soil. It is most commonly applied to potted plants, or to magnesium-hungry crops, such as potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, peppers, lemons, and roses. The advantage of magnesium sulfate over other magnesium soil amendments (such as dolomitic lime) is its high solubility, which also allows the option of foliar feeding.
• Food preparation: Magnesium sulfate is used as a brewing salt in making beer. It may also be used as a coagulant for making tofu.

Phenol Red Indicator Solution is used as a pH indicator. The sodium salt of phenol red is used widely in culture media to identify changes from neutral to acidic pH values.

Product Application:
It is typically used in cell culture media at 11 mg/L. A solution of phenol red will have a yellow color at a pH of 6.4 or below and a red color at a pH of 8.2 and above.Phenol red in tissue culture media can act as a weak estrogen, especially with human breast cancer cells. Lipophilic impurities, not the phenol red dye itself, account for the estrogenic activity. 95-99% of these impurities can be removed from the sodium salt of phenol red with a reduction in estrogen-like activity.
Using Procedure:
Preparation Instructions
This product is a sterile filtered 0.5% solution of tissue culture grade phenol red in Dulbecco,s phosphate buffered saline without magnesium and calcium.
An indicator solution can be formed by dissolving 0.1 g of phenol red in 14.20 ml of 0.02 N NaOH and diluted to 250 ml with deionized water. Phenol red can be used to measure hydrogen peroxide in cultured macrophages in multiwell plates. Assays used 2 units of peroxidase/100 ml volume with 0.5 mM phenol red, pH 7 at 37 °C. The reaction was stopped and color developed by adding 10 ml of 1 N NaOH and reading the absorption of the oxidized phenol red at 600-610 nm. Calculations were accomplished by comparison to a standard curve of hydrogen peroxide.

Phenolphthalein is another commonly used indicator for titrations, and is another weak acid.
Phenolphthalein Indicator, 1%. : Dissolve 1.0 g of phenolphthalein in 100 mL of alcohol (pH 8.0-10.0)

Product Application:
In this case, the weak acid is colourless and its ion is bright pink. Adding extra hydrogen ions shifts the position of equilibrium to the left, and turns the indicator colourless. Adding hydroxide ions removes the hydrogen ions from the equilibrium which tips to the right to replace them – turning the indicator pink.
The half-way stage happens at pH 9.3. Since a mixture of pink and colourless is simply a paler pink, this is difficult to detect with any accuracy!

Using Procedure:
To stain bulb chromosomes, a 1% band-aid of bittersweet in 45% acerb acerbic is used. Diesilite Combustion Catalyst : RXSOL-70-7004-025
RXSOL-70-7004-025 is specifically intended for treatment and reduction of corrosive smoke , carbon and soot deposits formed on exhaust valve seats and turbocharger components.  It is a  most advanced fuel oil treatment for modern steam generating units that burn Bunker- ‘C’ or lighter distillates. It is completely soluble in fuel oils and disperses atomic manganese throughout the firebox. It will improve combustion and prevent corrosion by eliminating the formation of nitric and sulfuric oxides. It will prevent slag formation and bridging by raising the fusion temperature of alkali metals and vanadium.
 It is a highly concentrated combustion improving agent, to optimize the combustion for marine fuel oils.
A higher burn-out of carbon and hydrocarbon will reduce the build-up of deposits, reduce maintenance and increase the time between overhauls.
The risk of T/C breakdown and boiler fires is significantly reduced.

Product Application:
For carbon residue formation during combustion is inhibited by manganese catalysts that lower the ignition temperature of heavy asphalt particles or bunker – C. The combustion time is consequently increased, leading to a reduction of tarry deposits and carbonaceous fire scale also It will prevent slag formation.
Using Procedure:

Nonstop Cleaning Agent is a concentrated product. SLUDZA (Nonstop Cleaning Agent). This product is safer for use, storage and transportation and reduces your costs by 10 – 15%. This product dissolves and loosen deposits of SLUDGE and increase the permeability layer zones to mix with water.
This is a very strong polymer based cleaner which can be used to soften up / remove baked on drying oils. It is a low toxic product with an exceptional solvency power on soil & oily matter. Suitable for cleaning of Heavy oils, Black oil, Mineral oil Products. Phthalates paraffin's vegetable oils Odour intensive products.
The Main feature of this product is It finally dissociates slop emulsion  to separate oil and water .This provides us with the ability to dispose of waste. Improper use or dilution may result in a decrease in product performance. Ready-to-use neutral cleaner is designed to clean washable hard surfaces.

Necessary concentration in water only 0,2 to 0,4 % Oil and Sludge remover
SLUDZA   is  also recommended for local cleaning & degreasing of engine rooms, bilges & tank  tops. It may be applied by brush, spray, immersion, soaking, or  any  other  conventional  means. SLUDZA is used  neatly. Allow a residence time of at least 20- 45 minutes where  possible, to ensure good penetration & emulsification. Finally wash the system with hot water & high pressure.The emulsion residue after cleaning must be allowed  to separate  in a holding tank for at least 3-5 hours before passing through an oily water separator.
1. Sweep or dust mop floors.
2. Properly position caution signs for wet floor conditions.
3. Mop floor or scrub using an auto scrubber or floor machine
4. Pick up soiled solution with a wet vacuum or tightly wrung mop.
5. No rinsing required.
6. Allow the floor to dry. Note: Floors may be slippery when wet.
7. Burnish or spray-buff immediately after cleaning (optional).
