RXSOL DEMULSIFIER
Demulsifiers, or emulsion breakers, are a class of specialty chemicals used to separate emulsions, for example, water in oil. They are commonly used in the processing of crude oil, which is typically produced along with significant quantities of saline water. This water (and salt) must be removed from the crude oil prior to refining. If the majority of the water and salt are not removed, significant corrosion problems can occur in the refining process.
There are two types of demulsifiers: oil-soluble demulsifiers and water-soluble demulsifiers. The selection of an RXSOL Demulsifierdepends on the type of emulsions to be separated. The breaking of emulsions (demulsification) is necessary for many applications such as environmental technology, painting, petroleum industry, and waste-water treatments.
Chemical demulsification is the most widely applied method of treating water-in-oil and oil-in-water emulsions and involves the use of chemical additives to accelerate the emulsion-breaking process. We are an experienced manufacturer and distributor of these kinds of products. In petroleum industries there is an increasing number of crude oil fields that are now producing both crude oil and water emulsions; such fields are both onshore and offshore. These emulsions are formed during oil exploitation due to the presence of natural surfactants, such as asphaltenes and resins. These molecules strongly stabilize the water/oil interface and prevent the coalescence of water droplets. As water/oil phase separation is necessary before oil transportation and refining, demulsifiers are used to break water-in-oil emulsions. The pH of the demulsifiers ranges between 5-6 which is slightly acidic.

C (140 deg. The effects of crude oil RXSOL Demulsifierin demulsification of water in crude oil emulsions are based on relative rates of water separation were recognized through emulsion breakers.
