Breathers provide an economic and efficient means of controlling the level of moisture entering electrical equipment during the change in volume of the cooling medium and/or airspace caused by temperature gradients. We supply breathers upto the capacity of 2000kva Transformers.
BREATHING PROCESS OF TRANSFORMER:-
Breathing is the process where the transformer Breather-In or Breather our the air from its body due to thermal contraction & expansion of oil mass. When the transformer is loaded or unloaded, the oil temperature inside the transformer tank rises or falls accordingly the air pressure inside the tank changes by either breathing in or breathing out the air. This phenomenon is called "Breathing" of the transformer. Now, the air which is being breathed in contains either dust particles and/or humidity that change the dielectric strength of the oil. For proper functioning of a transformer, it is absolutely necessary that dielectric strength of transformer oil remains unimpaired. Hence, it is necessary that the air entering into the transformer is free from moisture & dust particles.

Silica Gel Blue semi-transparent glassy substance containing an indicator as “Cobalt Chloride” a heavy metal salt. When free from moisture the Granules or beads are dark blue in color. As the beads take up moisture, they turn to light blue gradually & When they turn pink, When the gel has absorbed approximately 8 % percent of its weight in water the colored crystals will turn from blue to pink making an easy visual indicator of whether the gel has become saturated with moisture. It indicates that the gel needs to be replaced or regenerated. The indicated silica gel will still absorb up to 40% of its weight in water vapor just like the non-indicating In fact, it is mainly used as indicator for the extent of dehumidification and moisture absorption in sealed vessels and Silica Gel Breather Industry. Blue Silica Gel is also known as Indicating Silica Gel, Self Indicating Silica Gel, Blue Desiccants, Moisture absorber.

Surfaces cleaned:
Corrosion inhibited formulation recommended for glass, metal, stainless steel, porcelain, ceramic, plastic, cement and fiberglass. Can be used on soft metals such as copper, aluminum, zinc and magnesium if rinsed promptly. Used for art restoration. Corrosion testing may be advisable.
Using Procedure:

Soak, brush, sponge, cloth, ultrasonic, flow through clean-in place.Will foam not for spray or machine use.
Directions:
Make a fresh 1% solution (2 1/2 Tbsp. per gal., 1 1/4 oz. per gal. or 10 ml per liter) in cold, warm or hot water. If available, use warm water. Use cold water for blood stains. For difficult soils, raise water temperature and use more detergent. Clean by soak, circulate, wipe or ultrasonic method. Not for spray machines, will foam. RINSE THOROUGHLY preferably with running water. For critical cleaning, do final or all rinsing in distilled, deionized or purified water. For food contact surfaces, rinse with potable water. Used on a wide range of glass, ceramic, plastic and metal surfaces. Corrosion testing may be advisable.

White Silica Gel is a synthetically modified silicon dioxide that has been purified and processed into a hard, smooth bead. sSORB silica gel’s high surface area has a vast network of narrow interconnecting pores which have a strong affinity for moisture. Silica gel will remove moisture at temperatures as high as 220° F, but is best used at room temperature (70-90° F) and high relative humidity (60-90% rh).
Granular silica gel is synthetically modified to give it a vast internal network of interconnecting cavities creating a very large internal surface area for adsorption as a desiccant. Silica gel’s signature characteristic is its ability to adsorb moisture in humid environments and performs best at 60 – 90% relative humidity at ambient temperature.

Potassium ferricyanide is the chemical compound with the formula K3[Fe(CN)6]. This bright red salt contains the octahedrally coordinated [Fe(CN)6]3− ion. It is soluble in water and its solution shows some green-yellow fluorescence. It was discovered in 1822 by Leopold Gmelin, and was initially used in the production of ultramarine dyes.

Potassium ferricyanide has low toxicity, its main hazard being that it is a mild irritant to the eyes and skin. However, under very strongly acidic conditions, highly toxic hydrogen cyanide gas is evolved, according to the equation:
6 H+ + [Fe(CN)6]3− → 6 HCN + Fe3+[12]
The reaction with hydrochloric acid is as follows:
6 HCl + K3[Fe(CN)6] → 6 HCN + FeCl3 + 3 KCl
