A flux is used to remove oxide films, promote wetting, and prevent reoxidation of the surfaces during heating. Zinc Ammonium Chloride is used to prepare the flux bath which cleaned iron or steel, usually in sheet form, is passed throughe before going through the galvanizing itself. Intermetallic compounds of iron and zinc are formed on the surface of the steel or iron being treated by heating it in the presence of finely divided zinc below the melting point of the zinc. In another, molten zinc is applied in a fine spray to the surface of the cleaned iron or steel; the zinc adheres tightly to the surface, which ccalls hot-dip process. Commercially solid and triple salt of Zinc Ammonium Chloride are used mainly.

Product Application:

• Fluxing solutions are mainly used in hot-dip galvanizing for pre-treatment of steel surfaces. This double salt solution is stored at an approximate concentration of 500 g / l and a temperature around 60 degrees C into which the pieces are dipped after pickling and washing and are then inserted into the molten zinc bath.
• The main function of flux is to prevent oxidation of the metal before it contacts the zinc bath.
• The solutions are also widely used for pre-treatment of metals before welding, and in the tin immersion process.

Aquasol corrosion inhibitor is added to rinse water for either spray or immersion rinse during cleaning, and provides long term protection against moisture and humidity for ferrous components. Protection may last up to six months, depending on storage conditions, and post-treatment processes such as brazing, bonding, and painting are not affected. Selenous Acid (or selenious acid) is the chemical compound with the formula H2SeO3. Structurally, it is more accurately described by (HO)2SeO. It is the principal oxoacid of selenium; the other being selenic acid.

Product Application:

• The major use is in protecting and changing the color of steel, especially steel parts on firearms.
• The so-called cold-bluing process uses selenous acid, copper(II) nitrate, and nitric acid to change the color of the steel from silver-grey to blue-grey or black. Alternative procedures use copper sulfate and phosphoric acid instead. This process deposits a coating of copper selenide and is fundamentally different from other bluing processes which generate black iron oxide. Some older razor blades were also made of blued steel.
• Another use for selenious acid is the chemical darkening and patination of copper, brass and bronze, producing a rich dark brown color that can be further enhanced with mechanical abrasion.
• It can be use used as an oxidizing agent e.g. in laboratory preparation of glyoxal (ethane-1,2-dione) from glycol.
• Selenious acid is a key component of the Mecke reagent used for drug checking

Procedure for Use :-
RXSOL-20-1011-210 is highly concentrate
Dilute in water (always use plastic jar and RXSOL-20-1011-210 should be added to water never add water to (RXSOL-20-1011-210.)
Surface should be sound clean and free from oil, grease, dirt etc.
Diluted materials apply on rusted area for 15 to 20 minutes then wash off with water repeat if necessary.
(For stubborn rusted stains.)

Product Note:
For steel surfaces; remove oil, grease and old paint. Wet down entire surface with neat Metal Bright- Rx and allow to dry. Second wash may be necessary. Surface should have a grey/white appearance when the Metal Bright- Rx is dry. Steel surfaces will have a resistance to rust and will render a good base for paint.For removal of rust stains on painted surfaces and wood, Metal Bright Rx should be applied at full concentration for heavy stains, or diluted to 20-50% for light stains. Allow to soak for 15 to 30 minutes and wash off with water. A second application may be necessary to remove the stubborn stains.

Spraying Direction :-
Using an empty / clean 210 liter drum, fill with 190 liter of fresh water and add 20 liters of Metal Bright Rx This makes a 10% solution, which can be sprayed onto areas in coated tanks where rust stains are showing and over actual rusted areas. Once spraying is completed, wait 20-30 minutes and fresh water rinse with lots of water, if possible use butterworth machines for a more efficient result. This method can be used in stainless tanks to “freshen up” the look of the stainless materials. Make sure to rinse the tank very well, as residual detergent within the Metal Bright Rx will show up in a Wall Wash.
Injection – Not suitable.

Re-circulation :–
When hand spraying is inadequate (too much area to cover), prepare a 2% - 5% solution in the tank using fresh water, heat solution to 50o C, then circulate the solution through butterworth machines for 3 x 45 minutes drops minimum. When using fixed machine recirculate for a minimum of 3 cycles. Rinse out the tank using hot seawater 85o C for 2 hours making sure that there is no form remaining in the water at the pumpstack drain cock. After the hot wash, the tank must be rinsed with fresh

Fluorosilicic acid (H2SiF6) is manufactured and sold as aqueous (water) solutions. The solutions are clear, colorless liquids that have a slightly sharp, pungent odor. Common industrial solution strength concentrations are 20 % and 40% in water.

Product Application:
Concentrated fluorosilicic acid solution (FSA) is used for water fluoridation, as a metal surface treatment and cleaner and for pH adjustment in industrial textile processing or laundries. It can also be used in the processing of hides, for hardening masonry and ceramics and in the manufacture of other chemicals. FSA can only exist as a liquid. There is no solid form. Fluorosilicic acid solutions are corrosive and contact can severely irritate and burn the skin and eyes causing possible permanent eye damage. Breathing concentrated fluorosilicic acid solutions can severely irritate and burn the nose, throat, and lungs, causing nosebleeds, cough, wheezing and shortness of breath. Many of the symptoms described are due to the hydrogen fluoride present as an impurity.

Inhalation or ingestion of large amounts of concentrated fluorosilicic acid solution can cause nausea, vomiting and loss of appetite. Exposure to high concentrations or long term exposures to lower concentrations can cause fluoride poisoning with stomach pain, weakness, convulsions and death. Hydrogen Peroxide 50% is the bleach of choice for wool, silk and certain bleaching resin finished textiles such as crease resistant rayon and non-iron cottons. Hydrogen peroxide 50% is an oxidizing bleach but is slow in action. As purchased it has very limited bleaching powers and must be activated with added alkali.
HYDROGEN PEROXIDE 50% is also the best bleach for food products because the degradation products are water and oxygen.

Product Application:
Hydrogen peroxide 50 %  is a strong chemical oxidant which decomposes into water and oxygen in the presence of a catalytic quantity of any transition metal (e.g., iron, copper, nickel, etc.). The primary concern with decomposition is the build up of pressure which can lead to pressure bursts. To prevent this from occurring, any metal surface that comes in contact with hydrogen peroxide must be degreased, pickled and passivated, even if only used once. The degreasing and pickling steps chemically clean the metal surfaces. The passivating step oxidizes the metal surface. The thin oxide coating, which forms on the metal surface during passivation, renders the surface non reactive to hydrogen peroxide and prevents the metal from decomposing the peroxide.

A product which is usually used in stain removal, tanning and removing rust. A powerful cleaner capable of cleaning metal in many industries and other lab processes.
Oxalic acid’s main applications include cleaning or bleaching, especially for the removal of rust (iron complexing agent). Its utility in rust removal agents is due to its forming a stable, water-soluble salt with ferric iron. Oxalic Acid Liquid is an important reagent in lanthanide chemistry. Hydrated lanthanide oxalates form readily in very strongly acidic solutions in a densely crystalline, easily filtered form, largely free of contamination by nonlanthanide elements. Thermal decomposition of these oxalate gives the oxides, which is the most commonly marketed form of these elements.

Product Application:
Cleaning Agent: Oxalic acid as mentioned above is mainly used for the toughest cleaning duties. The acid features bleach-like qualities and can be used for things like removing rust and stains on objects and metals. This acid is found in some quantity in several cleaning products, detergents and bleaches. Oxalic acid is also ideal for polishing practically any stone and treating old wood.
Industrial Uses: In industries, this chemical is applied mostly for mineral processing mechanisms. Additionally, Oxalic acid can be used to sterilize equipments and people in the textile space use it for bleaching clothes.
Medicinal Uses of Oxalic Acid: In the medical field, companies make use of the acid to further purify certain chemicals or dilute them. However, there is very less data on the health benefits of this acid. Oxalic acid in organic and raw form is non-lethal. But sometimes it can have harmful effects in the body as well.
Other Uses:So, in addition to using the chemical for bleaching, removing rust and stain, Oxalic acid is mostly used as a reducing element in developing photographic film. It is also used in wastewater treatment where this acid removes calcium deposits effectively from water.
