Product Description

Water reducible alkyds are basically conventional alkyd resins (i.e., polyesters based on saturated or unsaturated oils or fatty acids, polybasic acids and alcohols) modified to confer water miscibility.

Product Dose

Water based Alkyd resins form the largest group of the synthetic resins available to the paint industries and consumption is greater than that of the any other resin for wide variety of application due to their low cost and versatility.

Product Note

Water based alkyd resin gives excellent application properties for brush, roller and spray. High gloss can be easily achieved due to the leveling capability of the alkyd, and adhesion to a variety of substrates. Excellent chemical resistance, hardness development and water resistance are developed over a short time period through oxidative crosslinking (depending on humidity and temperature).

Remarks

It is recommended to use in high performance protective coating and steel structure coating for indoor and outdoor metal equipments, can be used as primers and topcoats.
